Robert D. Cohen, a graduate of Cornell University, received an M.A.
from the University of Pennsylvania and a Doctorate in Education from
Teachers College, Columbia University. Before establishing College
Admissions Services in 1985, Dr. Cohen served as a counselor and
administrator for 16 years, first at Hunter College/CUNY, then as
Associate Dean of Students at Lehigh University. Nationally known as
the author of Freshman Seminar: A New Orientation(1978) and
Working With The Parents of College Students(1985), Dr. Cohen
has worked with hundreds of college-bound students and their parents
in guiding them successfully through the college admissions process.
Dr. Cohen is a member of two associations related to his profession:
NACAC (the National Association for College Admissions Counseling);
and IECA (The Independent Educational Consultants Association).
